The IT Course at Tasman is a Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (Support & Operations) (Level 7). With this IT Course you will be able to design, implement, configure, maintain and manage a secure Windows Server infrastructure on desktop and devices in an enterprise environment.
You will be also able to evaluate networking performance and implement a range of technologies and devices for secure systems and network services; to recommend remedial actions to meet effective organisational requirements.
Furthermore, this IT course in Auckland will give you the knowledge to evaluate a range of industry needs and expectations for cloud computing, applying technical skills and knowledge in managing and implementing Microsoft cloud computing technologies to gain the automation and flexibility required for corporate IT infrastructures.
Pathways
The graduates, with this qualification in ICT support and Operations, will have right knowledge and practical skills to fulfil current requirements of the IT industry including need of database administrators, analysts and managers; sever and network engineers and technicians; and enterprise IT service support analysts and technicians in global and New Zealand’s ICT industry within small to large scale organisations.
Employment
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants must have a Diploma in IT (Level 5) or equivalent knowledge and skills related to this IT course.
International Students must have IELTS (Academic) of 6.0 overall with no band score lower than 5.5 or NZQA approved equivalent.
