IELTS preparation at Languages International is available as a full-time course or as part of a full-time course with English for University, General English or English for Business. If you are planning to go on to further study in New Zealand after your English course, we strongly recommend our English for University course combined with IELTS preparation. The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a test of English language ability with two main purposes: firstly, it is a test for people who wish to study at university, polytech or other tertiary institutions in New Zealand, Australia or the United Kingdom; secondly, it is one of the requirements for immigration to New Zealand, Australia and United Kingdom. IELTS is the examination that is preferred in New Zealand to show English language proficiency for study purposes. Course entry level: Intermediate. Start Date: It is possible to join an IELTS course on any Monday, depending on spaces available. You must be at least 17 years old to apply.
