Summary

Entry criteria

Under 20

  • 50 credits at NCEA Level 2 or above, with 12 credits in each of the following: Maths, English and Science subjects, or achieved a level 3 or 4 qualification in a related field, or have equivalent practical, professional, or educational experience

20+ years

  • If you’re 20 years or over, you may qualify for special admission on this programme. Contact Wellington Institute of Technology if you don’t meet the Under 20 entry criteria.

English Language Requirements

IELTS - 6.0 overall with no sub-score less than 5.5

TOEFL Internet-Based Test (iBT) - Score of 60 (with a writing score of 20)

Cambridge English Test - FCE with a pass at Grade B or CAE with a score of 52

Pearson Test of English (Academic) - PToE (Academic) score of 50

New Zealand Certificate in English Language (NZCEL) - Level 4 with the Academic endorsement
