Our English for Academic Purposes course gives you the opportunity to develop your English language skills for use in an academic environment. It gives you excellent insight into the culture and expectations at university in an English-speaking location. Course lengths are flexible to suit your current English language level. This course is ideal if you want to develop your vocabulary and grammar, particularly in the key academic speaking skills of discussion and presentation. It allows you to gain direct, no-IELTS entry into a range of universities, private colleges and high schools in Australia and New Zealand, or Kaplan’s Business courses. There are two entry levels for the course: level 1 for Intermediate speakers, and level 2 for Higher Intermediate. You want to enhance your CV and improve your chance for professional and academic success in the future. You want to receive an accredited Kaplan International English Certificate of Achievement. Entry Level: Level 1: Intermediate or IELTS 5.0. Level 2: Higher Intermediate or IELTS 5.5 (Exit at equivalent of IELTS 6.0/6.5, depending on grade). Students aiming to exit at the equivalent of an IELTS 6.5 level are expected to be IELTS 6.0 on entry to EAP. Minimum Age: 16 Years old.
