Outcome

Graduates will be able to demonstrate an understanding, knowledge and skills in computer systems, application and system software and networks support and configuration in the New Zealand IT environment. Graduates will:

  • Show the necessary knowledge and skills to develop basic computer applications and administer databases.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the current user support standards, professional, legal, and ethical principles and practices in New Zealand.

Entry criteria

Applicants will need to be 18 years or older to apply.

To enter this course, you will need to hold the New Zealand Diploma of Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5); or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience

English language requirement:

  • Provide evidence of an IELTS overall band score of at least 6.0 (Academic), with no individual band less than 5.5
  • Have a Pearson Academic Test score of 50 and above with no individual band score less than 42
  • In Language Certificate have a C1 Expert Test PASS with no less than a pass in each skill
