Gain the academic skills required for higher-level study in construction.
This six-month programme is designed to build your skills for long term academic and career success by ensuring the essential layers of learning are in place. It covers a variety of subjects aimed at preparing you for the New Zealand Diploma in Construction with options in construction management or quantity surveying, or the New Zealand Diploma in Architectural Technology.
You will take core courses designed to equip you with fundamental academic and mathematical skills, then a selection of courses specifically required to advance in your chosen pathway.

Study pathways
The Certificate in Study and Career Preparation Level 3 (Construction Pathway) leads directly to the Diploma in Construction with strands in Construction Management/Quantity Surveying, or into the New Zealand Diploma in Architectural Technology.
