This professional programme aims to develop advanced applied leadership knowledge, skills, belief and value driven capabilities and to deepen and extend advanced knowledge and skills acquired in prior study and /or experiences. Learners also develop the capacity to undertake independent research, scholarship and/or practice in elected and related focus areas. Those targeted for entry to this programme are those with a significant interest in developing capabilities for applied leadership, as well as advanced field, research and scholarship capabilities in areas of interest.
Upon graduation graduates will be able to take on the following positions: senior team leader senior lead coordinator, senior section leader or organisational deputy leader or deputy CEO of an organisation or projects.
Applicants are required to hold:
Learners are required to have achieved an Academic IELTS score of 6.5 in one recent test event with no band score lower than 6 or an equivalent NZQA-approved English language standard.
All applicants will be required to complete an application form and a 1000 to 1200-word leadership project proposal including a statement about how their project success might be evaluated, and undertake an in-person or telephone or Skype interview.
