Summary
Hillmorton High School is a Year 7 – 13 co-educational state high school.
We are a medium size city school, with approximately 1,000 students, including 30 – 35 international students.
Located in the south-west of Christchurch, we are about 10 minutes from the city centre, close to several cultural, sporting and shopping amenities and the Port Hills.
We have a dedicated International team to support you before, during and after your time at Hillmorton High School. As a small team, in a medium size city school, we know our students well. We take pride in our individualised knowledge of you along with the pastoral care we provide.

Our homestays are part of our community – integral to our students’ experiences.
Even though we are not large, we are diverse. Our students come from over 40 ethnic backgrounds contributing to a rich and vibrant multi-cultural experience within the day-to-day life of the school.
