Summary
Kaipara College was founded in 1924 and is located in Helensville, a 40 minute drive north-west of Auckland. Students have the advantage of living in a small, safe and friendly, family orientated community with one of the most liveable cities in the world close by.
Small international student numbers ensure the students have a sense of belonging at the college and within the local community. There is a strong pastoral care support system in place and the international students have their own student centre.
Students are able to participate in uniquely New Zealand experiences with the advantage of having many activities in close proximity, such as Muriwai Beach, mountain biking, horseriding, flying, golfing, swimming, surfing, kite boarding, hunting and fishing.

The school offers new modern classrooms and facilities with an average class size of 24 students. We have a highly experienced team of teachers that are student focused. The college has a variety of academic and technical subjects on offer. Students are encouraged to aim for personal excellence and have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of academic, cultural and sporting activities. The schools sporting endeavours include rugby, soccer, dragon boating, waka ama, cross country, athletics, swimming, hockey, badminton, golf, netball, touch rugby, basketball and tennis.
