Mount Maunganui Language Centre (MMLC) is the longest-established English Language School in the Tauranga area. MMLC is a Category 1 school. MMLC has an average roll of 45 students. At MMLC you learn real English which you can use in the real world. Our students come from many countries - in 2013 we had students from 22 different countries. We have an average of 7 students per class, and a maximum of 12. With fewer students per class and a great nationality mix you have more opportunities to practice speaking English with people from other countries. Our courses include: General English, Academic Preparation, Examination Preparation, Working Holiday English, and more. MMLC is a member of English New Zealand - your assurance of a quality school.

Our school is located in the city centre of Mount Maunganui, close to cafes, shops and restaurants. You can walk to the beach from our school, and many of our homestay families are also within walking distance. We have modern classrooms with natural light and a large indoor - outdoor area for relaxing and socialising.
