Southland Boys' High School (SBHS) caters to International students from Year 7 to 13. The school is over 125 years old and boasts a very successful history of molding boys into young men. We harness the powers of modern technology in a campus steeped in Kiwi history in order to provide the benefits of this generation with the lessons of the past. Our boys learn through academic subjects and balance this with access to some of the most wonderful landscapes and training grounds in the world.

Established in 1954 Coldstream House has accommodation for 117 boys, most of whom live in the Southland area and board with us either part or full-time. We are the only hostel to still offer five day boarding with weekends/holidays optional. We cater for boys from Year 7 to 13. We also have a number of international students attending Southland Boys' High School and living at Coldstream House.
Our German-trained Chef, Theo, has a passion for food and knows exactly what it takes to satisfy young men's appetites.
