International Student Testimonial

"I have been in New Zealand for 4 weeks and I had a lot of fun. In 4 weeks, I have found out the difference in learning and teaching between New Zealand and Vietnam. In New Zealand, we can choose the subjects that we enjoy to learn. So the subject is more easier to learn and understand and everyday of school is really interesting! In Physical Education, we can learn more about our health and learn a lot of sports. Or in technology, we can learn how to cook cakes, cookies and more, especially, we do not need to prepare for the ingredients, it is easier for us because we do not need to carry much things to school. Moreover, we can learn on Internet, for example, we learn Maths and Science on Education Perfect.

I have become confident to learn, speak and understand English. Because I have my friends, my host family, they always help me to explain, so I can learn, understand more English and be confident to speak English more influently. If you want to improve English, speak more English, don’t be shy, because people won’t laugh at you, but they always try to help you understand and you can learn more vocabulary.

At school, I have a lot of friends. They are really friendly, kind and cute. They always help me in learning and knowing more about school, Auckland or New Zealand. We have just been to Camp for our year level and it was really amazing, my host family helped me to prepare for camp, and I have more friends after camp.

My host family is really kind, generous and friendly. They always take care of me, in eating, explaining the lifestyle, country and people, or even education. On the weekend, we usually watch movie on Netflix, play games or go outside to explore our neighborhood. In New Zealand, the environment is really friendly, people is really hospitable and the weather is nice, it usually rain, wind and cool so I feel better with the weather here. I really love the lifestyle, my school, my friends and my host family. I love New Zealand and Vietnam."
