"I liked the nature around Wainuiomata, particularly the birds. The students were friendly and the teachers helpful. I tried lots of different courses and my English improved lots! My homestay family treated me like a family member and the food was great! I enjoyed my travels in New Zealand."
"While studying at Wainuiomata High School, I liked the New Zealand education system because I could study what I wanted to do. My favourite subject was Tourism. I gained credits towards NCEA while at school. My parents were very pleased! The students at Wainuiomata High School are nice and friendly. My English has improved and now I feel more confident speaking, writing and reading in English. My Homestay was really good. It was like a real family so I felt very comfortable. I really enjoyed my South Island trip I did with New Zealand Education Tours. The Bungy jump was REALLY scary, but I did it. It was great talking to other international students on this trip."
"Wainuiomata High School is the best school to go to in New Zealand. It was really easy to make Kiwi friends. My host mother was like a second mother to me! The Dean of International Students and the Homestay Coordinator were always there for me, were really easy to talk to and took me and the other international students out on fun activities. Thank you."
