Enrol in a Foundation Studies programme and receive:
- An offer of place for the Foundation Studies programme
- A conditional offer of place for an undergraduate degree programme at the University of Auckland
To enter a University of Auckland undergraduate programme:
- Complete the Foundation Studies programme successfully
- Score the required aggregate mark set by the faculty of your degree choice across four academic subjects in Foundation Studies
- Achieve a minimum English (EAP) score of 65% (B- grade), or 60% in English (EAP) with IELTS 6.0 overall and no band below 5.5 (or equivalent)

About the Programme:
- 50% final examinations + 50% internal assessment
- Pass mark for elective courses is 50%
A number of courses are increasing the variety of their assessment methods to include one or more of the following:
- Collaborative assessments
- Research-based assessments
- Practical assessments

- Assessments that give students choices
