Guangzhou Puiying Middle School

Summary

Established in 1879 by Dr. Henry V.Noyes, Guangzhou Puiying Middle School has had a long history of more than 140 years. The centre has now 2,400 senior high students in more than 50 classes with 152 teachers and staff on its 122 acres’ main campus in the downtown area of Liwan district of Guangzhou. During the past hundred years,  Guangzhou Puiying Middle School has sent hundreds of our top students to further study in top China higher education institutions. Students will now also be able to progress to top universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the USA upon successful completion of the NCUK International Foundation Year. The centre has a standard 400m playground of track and field covered with artificial meadow, basket ball fields, volleyball fields, and a luxurious open-air swimming pool. Besides, there are also 60 standard classrooms, and labs for science (physics, chemistry, and biology) and languages (English, Korean, and Japanese languages), and one fine arts classroom. There are one networking centre, two libraries (Internet connected), one student activity centre, one art performance centre and one psychological health centre.

All classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with electronic white boards and projectors. All 449 student dormitories are equipped with air-conditioners and 24-hour hot water supply.
