International Medical University (IMU) is Malaysia’s first and most established private medical and health sciences university with 29 years of dedicated focus in healthcare education. IMU enjoys SETARA-2018/19 rating of 6 stars (Outstanding) under the Mature University category. It offers students pre-university, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes in the field of healthcare. IMU’s lecturers are highly-qualified in their fields of expertise with extensive experience in not only academia (teaching, research and publications) but also in clinical/professional practice.  At IMU, students will have the opportunity to gain relevant clinical exposure and take on industrial placements to prepare for the world of work. IMU enjoys a strong global network with more than 30 partner institutions of higher learning including New Zealand-based University of Otago. These collaborations cover most of the undergraduate programmes offered in IMU.
