To be eligible for these awards you must:
be a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand, the Cook Islands, Tokelau, Niue, or Australia
achieve the entry requirements for your desired programme
Applications will be selected based on academic merit and financial need. The process will be a contestable process each semester with a cut-off date of four weeks prior to the commencement of the semester for applications to be submitted for consideration.
Students will need to email their application to email and supply:
their academic record (including study completed outside of AIS)
a written statement explaining why they are seeking a scholarship, and must include full name, contact phone number, email address/skype address and intended programme of study.
The statement must also provide:
details of the student’s proposed future study and career
any relevant work experience
interests and/or community involvement
evidence of financial need
