Summary

Guided by our highly trained tutors, this NZQA approved course will teach you the foundation skills essential to a future in hairdressing and helping to form the beginnings of your own artistic identity.

COURSE CONTENT - Theory of hairdressing, Fashion trends, Shampoo, blow waving and setting, Product knowledge, Health and safety, Salon systems and client care, Colouring and highlighting, Long hair styling & Introduction to scissor cutting

Entry criteria

Entry is open to students who are over the age of 16 years, or who have a school attendance exemption, and who have a strong interest in hairdressing. Applicants will undertake and interview for admission to the programme.
