Entry criteria

To be admitted to this course, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree or a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in a cognate subject, OR
  • Hold the Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Professional Studies (with endorsement) or in cognate subject for entry to the Postgraduate Diploma; OR
  • A combination of academic and practical or professional experience based upon a record of learning (academic transcript), parchment and a curriculum vitae detailing relevant educational achievements work experience and professional achievements as follows:
    • Completion of a post-secondary school diploma in a related discipline at NZQA level 7 or equivalent from a recognised tertiary provider; AND
    • Demonstration of at least two years relevant practical experience with at least two written references (employer and character); OR
    • Demonstration of at least five years relevant practical or professional experience at a senior level, evidence of ability to study at postgraduate qualification level and two written references (employer and character).
