About this programmeGet ready to make a difference as you acquire advanced research and analysis skills as part of this Master's degree.
You will develop a balanced understanding of the socio-cultural, political and economic contexts that affect environmental management, and learn how these form part of decision-making.
The online version of this programme is not available to onshore international students (those currently in New Zealand).
How you’ll growThis programme equips you with the skills for high-level environmental policy and management positions with government agencies, regional councils, environmental and business consultancies, industry organisations, businesses, non-governmental organisations and advocacy groups.
Please note, the MEPM is a taught master's qualification and therefore does not have the research component required for progression to a PhD. For more information on a research master's in a similar area, please see the Master of Applied Science – Environmental Management.
This taught masters programme has challenged my thinking and changed my perspectives on sustainability. I now have the confidence to tackle a variety of complex issues with a wide sustainability lens and challenge the status quo.
