Through three years of study, learn real design skills to bring your concepts to life. Choose from our two majors Digital Media & Design or Animation. Our programmes are hands-on and practical, incorporating arts-based techniques to develop original design work. Work on individual, client and collaborative projects to build a work-ready portfolio with other like-minded creatives.
What you will learn Digital Media and Design majorIn the Digital Media & Design major, you'll begin by exploring four core areas – Animation, Game, Graphic and Screen Design – before specializing in your final year. You'll learn how to bring stories to life through animation, create engaging and interactive games through storytelling and world-building, communicate visually using illustration and typography in graphic design, and blend text, image and sound for dynamic screen applications.
In the Animation major, you'll focus on the craft of animated storytelling. You'll experiment with motion graphics, learn the techniques behind stop motion, and produce 2D and 3D animations for film, television, games, and online platforms. This major equips you with the skills and experience to work in studios, agencies or as an independent creator, in roles such as junior animator, motion designer, or 3D artist.
