Creativity is the practice of developing ideas and turning them into original outcomes that connect with people. Creative practitioners use design processes, critical thinking and problem solving to respond to briefs, explore themes and communicate messages. They work hands-on with different materials and media, and draw on art history, culture and theory to shape their approach. Collaboration is common, as is sharing work through displays or exhibitions. The ability to explain choices, reflect on feedback and refine work over time is a big part of professional creative practice.
Would it suit me?This area suits people who enjoy expressing ideas in different ways and exploring their own style. It’s a good fit if you like experimenting, thinking through problems and seeing projects develop from rough ideas to finished pieces. Being open to different perspectives and willing to reflect on your work will help you grow.
