Summary

This programme is designed for people with prior knowledge of hairstyling and colouring tasks and basic hair-cutting techniques, who wish to develop skills and knowledge to become a professional hairstylist. With a flexible three-day-a-week study schedule, you can pursue your creative ambitions without putting the rest of your life on hold – making it easier to balance study with work, family or other commitments. You will graduate with the knowledge, skills, and attributes to provide integrated fashion services as a professional hairstylist and will have hands-on experience for real clients in an Auckland salon or in MIT’s very own salon, Hair at MIT.
