New Zealand needs skilled workers to maintain vital resources we all use - wastewater, stormwater, electricity and road networks. This programme is designed to give you core skills and knowledge for the industry.
Over the course of a year you will complete units towards a nationally recognised qualification and gain hands-on skills that employers value. Your practical skills will enable you to safely work on infrastructure works sites ranging from civil works, rural construction, surfacing operations and underground utilities.

If you're interested in applying for this programme, talk to your careers advisor at school. Application is arranged in partnership with your parents/caregivers and your school. Once you've talked to everyone required, you can fill out the application form at the top of the page to apply.
For year 12 - 13 secondary school learners (NZ Citizens, permanent residents or learners with an applicable visa allowing them to be enrolled in a secondary school), aged 16 years or over.
