Build your professional and technical skills to lead complex construction projects, integrate sustainability and digital delivery, and engage confidently and professionally with diverse stakeholder groups in the fast-growing construction sector.
This programme has been developed in partnership with leaders in the construction sector, in response to demand for people with skills in construction management.
You'll be studying in the heart of one of New Zealand's fastest-growing cities, where you'll explore the latest in AI, digital construction and information management, alongside building your leadership, people and professional practice skills, understanding statutory requirements, risk, quality assurance and applying it all in real-world situations.
Candidates for the Degree must have
(a) qualified for the award of the degree of Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Built Environment or Architecture, with at least a B+ grade average across the 300 level papers, or a qualification considered by the Academic Board to be equivalent, or
(b) qualified for the award of the degree of Bachelor with Honours degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Built Environment or Architecture, with at least a B+ grade average across the 400 or 500 level papers, or for the award of a Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant subject with at least a B+ grade average, or for a qualification considered by the Academic Board to be equivalent, and
(c) satisfied the prerequisites for graduate study in the subject(s) being presented for the Degree, at levels considered appropriate by the Academic Board, and
(d) be accepted by the Dean of Engineering, who will consult with the Director of Engineering Masters (Tauranga).
