Admission to Massey

All students must meet university entrance requirements to be admitted to the University.

Specific requirements

To enter the Master of Supply Chain Management, applicants must meet Massey University admission requirements and have:

• either a **relevant***bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum B grade average over 300-level majoring courses plus 2 years' relevant professional experience, or
• a bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum B grade average, plus 5 years' relevant professional experience.

Applicants may also be considered with a relevant* postgraduate diploma or equivalent with a minimum B grade average plus two years' relevant professional experience, or with stronger academic achievement at an A- average alongside the required professional experience.

Other professionally experienced or qualified applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

*Relevant undergraduate backgrounds include supply chain management, logistics, operations management, procurement, business, engineering, information systems, business analytics, economics, or another discipline considered relevant by the Academic Board.

• copies of all official academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University
• a copy of your current curriculum vitae.

Time limits for Honours, Distinction and Merit

Where your qualification is completed within the stated time limit and to a high standard, you may be able to graduate with Distinction or Merit.

Maximum time limits for completion

There are maximum time limits to complete postgraduate qualifications.  If you do not complete within the maximum time, you may be required to re-apply for the qualification if you wish to continue your studies.
