The Graduate Diploma in Construction Project Management is a great stepping stone if you want to move into management positions in the construction sector. Learn to apply project management knowledge to the construction industry to ensure contracts are completed on time and on budget. You'll be able to solve complex industry-related problems, in teams and alone, and provide leadership in a team environment.

Qualification

To graduate you’ll need 120 credits, 75 of which need to be at level 7.

Entry criteria

Academic requirements

  • A relevant degree from a NZQA recognised institution
  • National Diploma in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying AND have a least three years' experience in the field of Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

  • A minimum of six years management experience in the field of construction or a closely related industry

English requirements

  • An IELTS (academic format) score of 6.5 with a min band score of 6 (reading and writing) and 5.5 (speaking and listening)
  • NZCEL (Academic) (Level 4)
  • TOEFL (pBT): Score of 550 (essay 5 TWE)
  • TOEFL (iBT): Score of 60 (writing 18)
  • University of Cambridge English Examinations: FCE, or FCE for schools, or CAE, or CPE with a score of 169. No less than 162 in each skill. OET at Grade C in all sub-tests
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic): 58 with score of at least 50 (reading & writing) and 42 (speaking & listening).
