Summary
Give yourself an edge by combining a Bachelor of Business with a Bachelor of Arts, which will help you refine your communication skills and better engage with the community your business operates within.
In as little as four years, you develop skills from two complementary disciplines, preparing you for numerous career opportunities. You could combine your business degree with a language major, helping prepare you for an international business career; or follow your passion for event management, culinary arts or social sciences, and develop core business skills at the same time.
Entry criteria
Minimum entry requirements If you have New Zealand qualifications- University Entrance or equivalent
- NCEA: Level 3 with merit or equivalent
- Bachelor of Arts in Interpreting: High level of competency in English and one other language. Interview will be required.
- Bachelor of Arts in NZ Sign Language - English Interpreting major: High level of competency in English (NZSL fluency is not required). Interview will be required.
International student entry requirements
English language requirements- Interpreting and NZ Sign Language - English Interpreting majors: IELTS (Academic) 7.0 overall with 7.0 in Writing and Speaking, and 6.5 in Reading and Listening; or equivalent.
- All other majors: IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent.
