Gain intermediate-level skills using a range of common digital tools and technologies to produce and process information. You'll gain lots of hands-on experience using different functions of various digital devices to create, access, organise, present and store information. You'll also learn how to create solutions to meet specific requirements and how to fix common hardware and software problems. You are expected to hold:
NCEA Level 1 OR The New Zealand Certificate in Computing (Foundation User) (Level 2), OR Have a qualification at Level 1 or above on the NZQF, with evidence of literacy and numeracy abilities equivalent to NCEA (Level 1), OR Have evidence of relevant knowledge and experience, including literacy and numeracy abilities equivalent to NCEA (Level 1).
In the latter two situations the applicant is required to participate in an enrolment interview with the purpose of verifying the evidence.
