New Zealand Certificate in Te Reo (Reo Rua) (Level 2)

Summary

If you’re keen to learn the basics of te reo Māori, this level 2 beginners language course is ideal for you. Te Pōkaitahi Reo (Te Kaupae 2) is offered mainly through evening classes for part-time study and day classes for full-time study. The part-time options are one evening per week 5.30pm – 8.30pm (all campuses) or one morning per week 9.00am – 12.00pm (Tauranga and Rotorua). The evening classes are suited for those who work during the day.  The full-time option is Monday – Thursday 9am – 3pm for Semester 1 and is only offered in Tauranga. This course precedes the full-time level 3 intermediate language course in Semester 2. All options combine online learning with face to face class time.
