Summary

Further your knowledge in a specialised field of practice. For Registered Nurses, Registered Paramedics and health professionals wanting to develop in their role, in the area of health they work in. Credits may be gained towards Master's study.

Programme outline

This qualification enables health professionals to tailor a programme of study that meets their learning needs for research-based practice in healthcare delivery. Specialty endorsements (detailed below) are available as specified; or applicants can be awarded the qualification unendorsed by selecting any two approved courses from any listed specialty.

Entry criteria

Domestic

Registered health professional/counsellor, New Zealand practising certificate (or equivalent), Bachelor Degree (or equivalent); and employed in a relevant clinical service for a minimum of three days (22.5 hours) per week.

International

IELTS 6.5 (no band lower than 6.0) or equivalent.
