Summary
The University of Otago English Language Centre welcomes students from all over the world to our classrooms – both on campus in Dunedin, or online from wherever you are in the world. General English: This programme includes listening, speaking, reading, writing, pronunciation, and grammar skills – at different levels – from elementary to advanced. Studying online: Students who are not in New Zealand can choose to study General English online at the University of Otago alongside other students. The course content and term dates will be the same as our face-to-face programmes, which means you can still pathway to Foundation Year by passing the relevant assessments. You will need to complete an online placement test, which will make sure you are in the best class for your level. Each week you will have 15 hours of tuition and all classes will be delivered ‘live’ online by your teachers, so you will need to have a reliable, fast Internet connection and a good computer with a webcam and microphone.
