Entry criteria

You must have completed the following: Have NCEA Level 1 or above, including 10 Literacy credits and 10 Numeracy credits or New Zealand Certificate in Sport, Recreation and Exercise (Multisector) (Level 3) [Ref: 3625] or A relevant qualification at NZQF Level 2 or A recognised equivalent. And meet one of the English entry requirements; A minimum of 12 credits at NCEA Level 1 English.   or Evidence of English language proficiency as outlined in the NZQA Rules on the Unitec English Language Requirements for International Students Web-page . Any ākonga who is 20 years of age or older and has not reached the general admission requirements for their intended programme is eligible for Special Admission. If you don’t meet the above criteria, special or discretionary admission may apply; your eligibility will be determined at the interview. <
