Diploma

Summary

This programme will develop your knowledge and skills as a Kaiako, enabling you to provide and support the education and care of infants, toddlers, and young children.

Spend up to 7 weeks working in an Early Childhood setting which will increase your employment opportunities. You’ll strengthen and reflect on your understanding towards age-appropriate resources, how to encourage tamariki engagement, and the benefits to their learning and development.

If you’re already involved in ECE, why not study while you work and enjoy 12 hours of streamed lessons delivered by friendly industry experienced tutors. This gives you the flexibility to take classes from anywhere, receive support and engage with fellow students and tutors via video, all while earning a recognised qualification.

This programme will also grant graduates 120 credits towards a Bachelor of Education through Te Rito Maioha or NZ Tertiary College. Speak to one of our friendly course advisors for more information.
