Learn how to apply basic baking skills to produce a range of biscuits, breads, cakes, and pastry products in line with industry standards. You will learn how to work as an effective team member and produce bakery products while demonstrating clear and appropriate communication within group and one-on-one situations.
Programme Specific Information Class TimesClasses are taught over three days a week.
Work ExperienceStudents are required to undertake 40 hours of work experience within the baking industry to enhance their formal learning.
Education pathwayThis qualification provides a pathway for people wanting to progress from secondary education into the Baking industry. Graduates may progress to one or more of:
Junior baker, bakery assistant.
