The Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering caters for professional engineers seeking advanced technical training or students looking for a one-year advanced qualification.
The certificate can be awarded unendorsed or endorsed in one of the disciplines:
Subject to meeting degree requirements, graduates can also transfer to a Master of Engineering.
How do I plan my degree?
The PGCertEng is made up of a combination of 400 and 600-level courses, with specific combinations to meet the requirements of the endorsements.
Subjects and courses
The certificate may be unendorsed and made up of courses from a broad range of engineering subjects, or endorsed in one of the subject options.
Postgraduate study can bring many career benefits eg, specialist skills and enhanced knowledge, possible into specific occupations, higher starting salary/progression rates, research capability/achievement and evidence of high academic attainment/self-discipline.
Students must normally have a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours or Bachelor of Science with Honours degree in relevant subjects, or in exceptional cases have qualified for the award of another appropriate qualification.
