The Master of Business Analytics is suited to recent business and non-business graduates (excluding students who majored in Business Analytics or Data Science), and mid-career professionals who have not completed a Business Analytics qualification.
This programme is practice focused. We will equip you to interrogate business challenges. You will then source, manipulate and analyse data to address issues and inform organisational strategies.
You will also develop a strong portfolio of professional skills that will enable you to communicate effectively to a non-technical audience by using data visualisation tools and storytelling.
Specialisations: You will have a choice of three specialisations. These provide the opportunity to develop and apply analytical techniques in your field. You will complete a capstone project that gives you the opportunity to apply your learning to practical challenges, either in collaboration with an organisation or under the guidance of an industry mentor.*
*Specialisations are driven by demand and might not be offered every quarter.

Also available: Postgraduate Certificate in Business Analytics (PGCertBusAn). The PGCertBusAn is an alternative pathway for graduates who are initially uncertain about committing to a masters programme. It's also for those who do not achieve the required GPA for direct entry to the MBusAn.
You must have completed a bachelors or honours degree in business or a non-business degree in a relevant discipline, such as engineering, social sciences, sciences or technology. You will need a GPA of 5.0 or higher in 90 points of the most advanced courses of the bachelors programme, or over the entire honours programme. In addition, you must have passed an undergraduate level course in business statistics (STATS 108) or equivalent. If you have completed advanced course(s) in an undergraduate degree that are considered substantially similar to courses in this programme, you will be required to complete substitute course(s). Advice will be provided to you on a case-by-case basis.
