Summary
Taught by the School of Biological Sciences, the Business School and the Faculty of Law, the MBioEnt teaches scientists to understand and protect the value of their research.
You’ll learn how to translate breakthrough discoveries into high-value products and strategies for commercialisation. You'll explore key aspects of intellectual property law, valuation tools, and the writing of a business plan.
You’ll also complete a six-month industry internship, which offers a unique opportunity to put your skills into practice.
Entry criteria
You must have completed the requirements for the Postgraduate Diploma in Bioscience Enterprise (PGDipBioEnt) from this University with a Grade Point Average of 6.0 or higher. This is a limited entry programme as per the Limitation of Entry Statute 1991.
