Master of Dental Technology (MDentTech)

Please be advised that that the MDentTech is currently only available by thesis only. Please contact postgrad.dentistry@otago.ac.nz for more information. Applications for the MDentTech open on 1 April and close on 31 May of the year prior to study. When applications open, a link to apply will appear on this page.

The Master of Dental Technology (MDentTech) programme usually requires two years' full-time study (or the equivalent in part-time study). It consists of three 500-level papers plus a thesis.

If you have already completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Technology (PGDipDentTech), then you complete the MDentTech in one year – studying by thesis only.
