The programme focuses on environmental issues and the human impact on ecosystems. You will learn practical skills in data collection, surveying and sampling methods, restoration and conservation. This one-year full-time (or equivalent part-time) qualification is made up of eight courses worth 15 credits each.
The diploma is the equivalent of the 1st Year of a Bachelor of Applied Science. In the near future, WITT aims to introduce the Level 6 Diploma in Environmental Management in 2025, after which WITT has arrangements for those students who want to continue study for an environmental science degree.
