Summary

You study full time with lots of practical experience on Tai Poutini Polytechnic's own Reefton farm. You will learn about tractors, quad bikes, and LUVs as well as farm machinery and turn your hand to fencing. Health and Safety is hugely important in farming operations and you gain experience in assessing hazards and will have logged hours using farm vehicles.
