Worldwide School of EnglishLevel of Study
English Language Course
Our General English classes are designed to be dynamic and encourage student participation at all levels. As well as taking lessons, students will have plenty of time to sight-see and explore New Zealand. Worldwide School’s general English classes are split into up to eight levels based on the Common European Framework, and are suitable for anyone from absolute beginners to advanced-level students.
Utilizing a variety of texts and interactive materials, morning classes cover the four basic language skills; reading, writing, listening and speaking. The classes help students develop a better understanding of the complexities of grammar, build their knowledge of vocabulary and idiomatic expressions, and better understand nuance.
The afternoon classes offer students the opportunity to explore other aspects of English language learning. Students can choose the following electives: English for Business, Pronunciation, Writing Skills, General IELTS, New Zealand Studies, Skills class, and TOEIC.
Enrolment: Students may enroll to start at the beginning of any week during the year, with the exception of Christmas and New Year and can study for as few or as many weeks as they require.
