Learners will benefit by having a qualification within a training pathway that recognises progression through the industry, as well as increased skills and knowledge acquisition to enable improved job performance.
This qualification is targeted at people who are experienced workers in the agriculture industry and are looking to move into, or are at, a management level position in an agricultural production enterprise.
English language requirementsCandidates who have English as a second languge are required to have an academic international English Language Test System (IELTS) score of 5.5 (general or academic) with no individual band score lower than 5.0, or equivalent.
Work placement componentsIt is understood students should be engaged on farms within the regional area and will spend the majority of their time working in the agricultural industry.
Engagement in a farming operation is a critical core component of this programme and essential to ensure all aspects of this programme are completed in a real work environment where any off job/theory assessment is seen to directly involve the work place.
