Start your journey in the adventure and tourism industry with this hands-on, full-time programme. The Level 4 Certificate is designed to build the essential technical skills, leadership confidence, and safety awareness required to enter the workforce. 

Located around Tongariro National Park, you will balance theoretical knowledge with intensive practical training in real-world outdoor settings.

What skills will I learn in the Level 4 Certificate? 

You will develop a versatile toolkit across multiple outdoor disciplines, including: 

  • Bush & Navigation: Hiking, expedition planning, and land navigation. 
  • Climbing: Fundamentals of alpine and rock climbing. 
  • Water Activities: River safety and white water kayaking basics.
