Summary

You'll gain a practical grounding in Biomedical Science through case‑based, hands‑on learning that shows how molecular and cellular discoveries become medical advances. Your biomedical studies will be complemented and enhanced with courses in Engineering. We will enrich your skills, broaden your learning experience – and prepare you to become a key player in the health sector. The degree provides direct entry from Year 1 into Year 2 clinical programmes, with strong preparation for postgraduate clinical and research pathways in New Zealand and overseas.
