Summary
This internationally-recognised degree will provide you with skills and expertise in sport coaching, physical activity, health promotion and education. Make an impact on social justice and health issues that are currently affecting Aotearoa New Zealand and the world. Drive positive change in sport and health, addressing issues such as mental health, fitness and food. The programme is diverse. Choose from courses focusing on coaching, alternative sports, sports media, exercise science, nutrition, gender, sexuality, Māori movement, dance, youth health and other topics. You can prepare to meet your career aspirations by way of a specialised pathway. There are five to choose from: Health education and promotion, Sport coaching and leadership, Sport science, Health and physical education, Dance. You'll learn from world-leading academic staff in the fields of sport, health education and physical education. You'll gain valuable industry experience tailored to your career aspirations.
