Study options
Students who have successfully completed the HELP University Bachelor or Psychology (Hons) or the Flinders-HELP Bachelor of Psychological Science joint degree, are eligible for admission to the University of Otago's two-year Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MSc) postgraduate programme. Students are eligible to graduate after successfully completing the two year full-time Otago programme.
The Department of Psychology at Otago is internationally recognised for its excellence and is ranked in the top 50 in the QS World Ranking by Subject. Graduates of the MA or MSc are well-prepared for employment or for progressing to the PhD programme.
Entry criteria
Applicants must successfully complete the academic requirements for undergraduate study with a GPA of 3.25 (70%) or higher, and must meet the University of Otago's English entry requirements. For further details, please visit the University of Otago website.
