Study Options
Students who successfully complete the required undergraduate courses at AUFE then enrol directly into the Massey University Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, and progress onto the Master of Business Studies, majoring in Economics or Finance. Students can graduate from the Graduate Diploma one year of successful full-time study with Massey University, and the Master's Degree after a further 1.5 years (3 years + 1 year + 1.5 years).

The Graduate Diploma in Business Studies is useful if you wish to keep up with professional developments in your field and are short of time. Or you may have found yourself working in a different field of business to that in which you hold a qualification.
The Graduate Diploma in Business Studies enables you to study another subject without completing a second bachelor’s degree. This is an undergraduate diploma, designed for those who do not have a degree in the subject you wish to pursue. You need to be a university graduate to enrol in this programme. It is a bridging tool to gain the equivalent of an undergraduate major in a specific area so you can go on to postgraduate study.

A master’s is a rigorous, challenging, rewarding, and exciting programme of study. Your study will focus on your chosen specialisation, in the context of other business disciplines. This reflects the reality of today’s business environment. You will learn the processes and disciplines involved in high-level in-depth research and how to apply them to business. You will complete and present a comprehensive written report on an independent research topic. We utilise our relationships with industry and help you draw on experience you may have to give your learning context and relevance to the real world. The Master of Business Studies programme will also develop your oral and written communication skills to the level expected of senior business leaders.
