Diploma of Animation (Advanced)

Summary

Graduating students will have an advanced understanding of the principles of 3D computer animation and the creative and design practices related to this. They will also have highly developed industry standard 3D animation software skills and experience of working as part of a production team. Graduates will be work-ready for roles such as 3D animator, 3D modeller, character designer, character TD/rigger, VFX artist, matte painter, compositor and VFX production coordinator. Alternatively, graduates may seek to extend their animation skills, and/or broaden their skill-set to include other graphic design or multimedia techniques, by continuing with further study/training at a similar or higher curriculum level.
