The purpose of this programme is to provide passionate learners with the foundational knowledge and skills required to practice person-centred support in a residential care facility or a home-based support setting in the health and wellbeing sector.
Learners of this programme may already work in the health and wellbeing sector, but are interested in gaining a formal certificate qualification by expanding their experience. This programme is also targeted towards those who are eager to take the first step in pursuing a career in the health and wellbeing sector.
This programme is composed of theory, placement, and self-directed study, and will provide the community health and wellbeing sector with graduates who are informed, competent and socio-culturally aware.

New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Advanced Care and Support) (Level 4), or
New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Social and Community services) (Level 4), in Integrated Practice (Family and Whanau Harm) or in leadership and management.
